My Dress from a Duvet Cover We’ve a new feature at the Stitch Festival next year (23rd – 26th March at the Business Design Centre, Islington, London) – Dressmake from a Duvet. So putting my own spin on this, I have of course made a dress from a duvet. Join me on Friday 16th April for a couple of 90 minute Beyond the Basics – Sewing Machine Feet Sewalong sessions. Using the correct feet for the job – and then expanding their use for other techniques is a passion of mine that I love to share. It makes sewing easier and more fun! My next live Sew-along to Make a Crazy Patchwork Cushion Cover with Piping is on 16th December at 1.30 – 4.30 pm.  It’s a fun session so get out your sewing machine and sew along with me! You will learn to create a crazy patch front panel – brilliant for using up remnants, and then add piping, going around the corners and joining ends neatly before finishing the cushion backs with beautiful buttonholes.
