We’re one week away from the 2024 NFL draft, and there’s still some uncertainty about where Jayden Daniels will be selected.
He’s widely viewed as the No. 2 quarterback behind Caleb Williams and has been commonly projected to go second overall to the Washington Commanders, but they may not be the only potential suitor.
The Minnesota Vikings seem intrigued by the prospect of selecting a quarterback, and the team is set to meet with Daniels for dinner on Thursday night in Baton Rouge, according to NFL Network’s Tom Pelissero.
The Vikings currently hold the 11th and 23rd picks, and it’s unlikely ..read more

Van Lith committed to the Horned Frogs as a fifth-year transfer on Thursday, as was first reported by Talia Goodman of The Next. Van Lith came to LSU after an All-ACC season at Louisville, but she saw her production drop after moving from the two to the one spot.
She averaged 11.6 points and 3.6 assists this season, and she opted to enter the transfer portal after the Tigers’ Elite Eight loss to Iowa rather than join Angel Reese in the 2024 WNBA draft ..read more

As spring practice concludes, LSU owns the fifth-best odds to win the SEC, according to FanDuel. The Tigers sit behind Georgia, Texas, Ole Miss and Alabama. That sounds about right given the loss of Jayden Daniels and the uncertainty on defense.
The ceiling is high, but a few things need to click if LSU hopes to compete at the top of the conference.
Here, we’ll look at five things LSU needs to happen to win the SEC in 2024. Winning a title requires skill and luck. Some of these notes are factors LSU can improve on and some are out of its control.
