These raw vegan tacos are a bit of work, but so worth it. Make them a special treat and I think you'll agree. You could also make a double batch; the corn tortillas and the sunflower taco 'meat' will freeze well. The sour cream leftovers will last around a week in the fridge too. It's great on salads and as a dip for crudités. ? Let's do more together ? Join my YouTube channel. ? Premium (All-Access) Content The black tahini in this dish makes this visually very unique, but misleads (in a fun way) from just how flavourful this is. Sweet, acidic and umami with pops of freshness from the tomatoes. This is one you have to make to fully appreciate what it actually tastes like; you'd never guess from just reading the ingredients. JUMP TO RECIPE These simple buckwheat crackers have been a staple for me over the years. As you can see from the image above, they are great in a salad with macadamia cheese and chutney. But they're also great for 'chips and dips' with salsa and guac. Their versatility is down to their simplicity; they pair with just about anything. But the combo of buckwheat, almond, nutritional yeast and apple cider vinegar make for a seriously umami flavour. Is buckwheat gluten-free? Yes, buckwheat is gluten-free. Despite its name, buckwheat is not related to wheat and is naturally gluten-free. It is a see ..read more

Jump to recipe In this lesson I'm going to be showing you how to make a simple flax seed cracker. From there I'm going to be talking about how you can come up with your own flavours and modifications; easy once you have the base recipe down. Flax crackers are of course a raw food classic. I made a TON them when I first got into raw food. I topped them with simple delights such as guacamole (or its trendy cousin, smashed avocado), macadamia cheese, or pico de gallo. We're going to be using a food processor for this recipe; it's too thick for a blender. Having said that, if you only have a blen ..read more

Jump to recipe This watermelon sushi uses my recipe for watermelon tuna, which can be done in the dehydrator or the oven if you don't have a dehydrator. Watermelon tuna can be made in chunks (as pictured below) but if you're making it specifically for watermelon sushi, I'd suggest making it into strips (second image below) that will sit easily inside the sushi. These are great for poke bowls, but watermelon tuna for sushi should ideally be made into strips as shown belowI suggest cutting your watermelon into strips if making it for watermelon sushi We're going the raw vegan route with this re ..read more

Jump to recipe ? I did a livestream showing how to make this pepperoni on YouTube here. Livestreams on YouTube are free for anyone to attend live. If you want to watch the replay, that's available to YouTube channel members: Supporter+ My channel supporters help me create more free recipes and videos. This is a fun little recipe. As you can see from the images, this ends up looking very much like tuna. The texture is something to behold; the crunchiness of the watermelon transforms into soft, tender and flavour replacement for its namesake. But although you can use this as a replacement ..read more
