At the time of writing this, the world is one week out from the New Moon in Aries, the Solar Eclipse in Aries, Chiron in Aries and Mercury in Retrograde. In. Aries.
The lead up to this event was intense and though the planetary bodies have all moved on, most of the world is still feeling the effects of all of that energy coming together to create intense movement in our lives and the world.
And this is what it is to be alive and part of a grand cosmos. We are influenced by the planets, current events in the world, politics, family drama, work drama, shifts in relationships, information ..read more

The Spring Equinox, known as Ostara in modern Pagan and Witchcraft traditions, marks a time of balance between day and night, light and darkness. This point of equilibrium invites a celebration of renewal, rebirth, and fertility, deeply rooted in ancient cultures and spiritual practices across the globe. Understanding its origins and traditions offers a profound connection to the Earth’s cycles and our place within them.
Origins of Ostara
Ostara derives its name from Eostre or Ostara, the Anglo-Saxon and Germanic goddess of dawn, spring, and fertility. Her symbols, the hare and the egg, embod ..read more

We have so many names and lenses through which to talk about manifestation. In the secular world, especially at this time of the year, it’s “goal setting” or “resolutions”.
In Holy Witchery, we refer to it as a “vision mapping”, “spell crafting”, “moving into resonance” or “intentional aim” depending on context.
Regardless of what you call it, the bare essence of it is that we set our sights on an aim and take steps to arrive at a chosen reality.

Winter Solstice, known as Yule in many Pagan and Witchcraft traditions, is a time of profound spiritual significance.
Understanding Winter Solstice in Witchcraft
Winter Solstice, the shortest day and longest night of the year, typically falls around December 21st in the Northern Hemisphere. For witches and practitioners of various Pagan paths, this time is not just a celestial event but a deeply spiritual one. It symbolizes the rebirth of the Sun, an embodiment of hope and renewal. As the sun stands still and then begins to grow stronger, it mirrors the cycle of death and rebirth.

Though Samhain is a celebration of Celtic origin, many cultures around the world honored this time of year. The last of the harvest festivals, the end of cycles and death were and still are venerated in a variety of ways.
At this time of year depending on your lineage, geographical and cultural context, you might celebrate Samhain, Day Of The Dead, All Hallows Eves, All Saints Day, Die De Los Difuntos and a variety of others. And of course, we have Halloween, which is a secular western celebratory holiday with roots in ancient traditions.
What is consistent however, at leas ..read more

Fall or Autumn Equinox, also known as Mabon, is a significant period within the Wheel of the Year that offers rich metaphors for the deeper transformations we go through spiritually. It symbolizes balance, gratitude, and preparation for the retreat of the inward journey. This time of year gifts us with the invitation to explore what our personal growth has been so far this year as well as amplifying the gifts of those changes with meaningful rituals. And perhaps, most importantly, it’s a time to begin slowing down, letting go, and resting. Holy holy rest.

In all of our books and online spaces as Witches, one of the bigger topics that always comes up is about being in the broom closet. – Broom closet being that metaphorical place where we hide our identities as Witches for fear of being discriminated against, judged, or harmed in some way.
I teach that being in the broom closet isn’t something to be ashamed of. If your life would be placed in mortal danger because of your identity as a Witch, then love… Stay. Alive.
Your circumstances can change over time, but being mortally hurt can be a definitive outcome.
There does, howev ..read more

The other day someone on Facebook was asking the question of whether or not manifestation was spiritual. This was not the first time I’ve seen they subject brought up.
As you can imagine there were a variety of answers that addressed all sorts of angles on this, but the point of the question was to open the door to a deeper look at how “Manifesting” as a cultural fad isn’t spiritual at all because it promotes a constant striving and cloying (these are my words) rather than a more spiritual approach to life where perhaps it’s implied that wanting and striving isn’t it.
So the implication ..read more

Lammas, also known as Lughnasadh, is a festival that marks the start of the harvest season. Celebrated traditionally on the 1st of August, Lammas is a time of transition, transformation, and reflection, the first of three autumn harvest festivals. It embodies not only the literal harvest of crops but also the metaphorical harvest of personal growth and development. In the sphere of personal transformation, the metaphor of Lammas symbolizes the time to reap what we’ve sown and nurtured throughout the year, symbolically and literally.
This is the time in the solar year where we begin to slow it ..read more
