Patrick Elbe
Patrick Eble grew up in Philadelphia and learned to row on the Schuylkill River at La Salle College High School. After La Salle, he rowed at Princeton University and graduated with a degree in Ecology and Evolutionary Biology. At Princeton, Patrick rowed in the First Varsity all 4 years. He has two bronze medals and one silver medal at Eastern Sprints (2014-2016) and two bronze medals at IRAs (2015-2016). Elle Logan
Elle Logan rowed at Stanford University and graduated in 2011 with a BA in History. In 2009, the women’s rowing team won the Pac-10 Championships and the NCAA Championships. Elle was named the Pac-12 Rower of the Century in 2016.
Elle was a member of the U.S. National Rowing team from 2007-2016. She competed at three Olympic games (Beijing 2008, London 2012, and Rio 2016) as a member of the Women’s 8+ and has three Olympic gold medals. NRF Adds Four New Board Members at the 2022 Board Meeting
Jon Kawaja
Jon Kawaja rowed at Princeton where he graduated with a degree in Architecture, cum laude, in 1994. Jon earned medals at IRAs, Nationals and Eastern Sprints. He rowed for Oxford in the 1995 Boat Race, and subsequently won Henley with Isis Boat Club. Jon was a finalist at the 1996 Canadian Olympic Trials. He earned an MBA from MIT’s Sloan School, and later competed in triathlon, at the Ironman World Championships.

The National Rowing Foundation (NRF) today announced the receipt of a $30,000 grant from the Head Of The Charles Regatta. In partnership with USRowing, the NRF will use this grant to partially fund a one week training camp for Team USA’s Olympic and Paralympic rowers directly prior to the Tokyo Olympics in late July.
Due to the ongoing global pandemic, the Olympic venue in Tokyo will not open to teams until one week prior to the opening ceremony on July 23rd. To adapt to this unusual circumstance, the U.S. Olympic and Paralympic Rowing Teams have met in Honolulu, Hawaii for a one week training ..read more
