Long-absent AEW star Andrade El Idolo has responded to a recent report that stated he rejected plans to appear on the May 10 AEW Dynamite. The report from Fightful Select stated that the Mexican star was due to appear in a backstage segment similarly to Miro and Thunder Rosa, who appeared backstage to enter Tony Khan’s office, however, Andrade of course did not appear, and the report said that’s because Andrade didn’t want to do it. Thea Hail was able to eliminate not just Cora Jade but also WWE Raw star Dana Brooke to secure her win to become the number one contender to Tiffany Stratton’s NXT Women’s Championship.
