While much of AEW’s focus may be on the impending debut of Collision on June 17, it seems as if Tony Khan is still intent on ensuring Dynamite has plenty to keep fans tiding over in the meantime.

Long-absent AEW star Andrade El Idolo has responded to a recent report that stated he rejected plans to appear on the May 10 AEW Dynamite.
The report from Fightful Select stated that the Mexican star was due to appear in a backstage segment similarly to Miro and Thunder Rosa, who appeared backstage to enter Tony Khan’s office, however, Andrade of course did not appear, and the report said that’s because Andrade didn’t want to do it.

A new WWE tag team has been formed after one talent recently returned to TV following a nine month absence.
Last night’s June 6 episode of NXT was main evented by the women’s battle royal to determine the first challenger for NXT Women’s Champion Tiffany Stratton after she won the title at Battleground.
Earlier in the show, Blair Davenport – who a week earlier had revealed herself to be the mystery attacker of the women’s division after the aforementioned lengthy hiatus – had her first match back with a win over Dani Palmer.

After a big Battle Royal win on tonight’s WWE NXT, a new number one contender was greeted backstage by Shawn Michaels.
Thea Hail was able to eliminate not just Cora Jade but also WWE Raw star Dana Brooke to secure her win to become the number one contender to Tiffany Stratton’s NXT Women’s Championship.
Arriving backstage after the win, she was greeted by Shawn Michaels who had a hug and well wishes for the star.

After attacking Ilja Dragunov backstage at NXT tonight, Bron Breakker was asked why he had taken such a bold step.

In the main event of tonight’s WWE NXT (June 6) there was a big women’s battle royal to determine who would be the first to challenge Tiffany Stratton for her NXT Women’s Championship.
In some storyline bits throughout the match, Tatum Paxley sacrificed herself to save Blair Davenport, then attacked Roxanne Perez. Jacy Jayne eliminated Perez shortly thereafter.

After Tony D’Angelo was seen being brought in for questioning and subsequently booked into jail, on tonight’s edition he was able to receive a special visitor in jail.
