Narendra Ubhayakar is an all-round sportsman who has played Badminton, cricket as well as ball-badminton. He began playing badminton at the age of 25 and has represented Mysore and Karnataka state for many years. He was a member of the badminton team which was runners up in the ALL INDIA INTER STATE CHAMPIONSHIPS in 1974, 1975 and 1976.He was also the captain of the Badminton Team which won the All India inter state championships in 1977 and 1978.
