Until now, however, there are few efficient and reliable methods for identifying these difficulties. Together with the University of Zurich, the Swiss Epilepsy Centre is developing the COSIMO online test to fill this gap. Our lab, led by Adam Eggebrecht, PhD, is a diverse and interdisciplinary team with research focus on developing brain imaging tools for evaluating brain-behavior relationships in children who are autistic, non-autistic, or who have autistic family members. The Massachusetts General Hospital for Children at the Lurie Center is currently recruiting for a research study that will evaluate emotional and physical symptoms of anxiety in youth with autism spectrum disorder through questionnaires, wearable devices, and a laboratory stress assessment. I am studying the effectiveness of an 8-week, Youtube-delivered nutrition education program among parents of children with autism and weight issues (overweight/obesity). Parents will be watching 2 videos (less than 4 mins each) per week and answering surveys at Week 1, Week 4 and week 8. Surveys are easy, takes less then 3 minutes to complete. This is a randomized research study. I am looking for parents who have children between the ages of 6-11 years and are overweight or obese.
