So Paul sets off. It is clear that without biblical texts outlining the journey in detail that we don’t know his exact route. Modern scholars reckon there are perhaps four possible routes that Paul may have travelled on but these ancient pavements give us a real idea of just what travelling was like for him. Here are some pics of one stretch of the trail that is particularly inspiring. It takes a bit of searching to find the new waymark red and white paint signs which lead steeply uphill to the now ruined city of Adada. Would you like to leave the chilly winter weather behind and come for a walk in the sunshine, following in the footsteps of the apostle Paul? Stepping out beside him as he travels around Turkey preaching the good news about Jesus? Well you can do that here, walking sections of The St Paul Trail – a waymarked hike that tries to imagine the route Paul might have taken when the gospel first arrived in mainland Asia Minor. There is a good reason for our journey. One other than suns rays instead of the frosty British winter weather outside your window! This hike makes the scriptures come to life i ..read more

Image courtesy of Pixabay.com The United Kingdom has a new king, King Charles III.  Over the months since he became King, an increasing number of details about his coronation have been shared by the palace.  There have been announcements about what is going to happen on each day of the long weekend in May; across the country as well as in London itself.  We now know the name of the official photographer, we’ve seen the logo for the occasion and we even know which crown the Queen Consort will be wearing at the coronation.  Although this is a new king for the UK, almost ever ..read more
