I have been wanting to plan a wedding at Chelsea Square (née Highline Hotel and General Theological Seminary) for a while and finally the stars aligned with Ellie and Joe!  The combination of working with an excellent caterer like Events by RHC at a stunning venue like Chelsea Square is this wedding planner’s dream.  We looked at a few different Manhattan venues in their search and Chelsea Square was the winner.   A fall wedding at Blue Hill at Stone Barns is so lovely!  Marissa and Vincent were such a delight to work with.  They put so much trust in me, the venue and the vendors.  Fourteen Forty designed all their paper goods, which started out with a watercolour rendition of the well known ivy covered shed at the back of the restaurant for their save the dates.  She also designed their wedding website which had the most adorable animation in watercolour of their engagement in Telluride, Colorado.  Vincent had thoughtfully hired a photographer to capture the special mome ..read more

It is winter here in New York and it has me thinking of my favourite winter wedding venues. There is something so cozy and intimate about a winter wedding. For those of you that have multiple friends getting married in the same year, it means your wedding may not be as close together with the other weddings in the peak months of the year.
