The Musée Heritage Museum is excited to offer beading classes once again in the winter of 2023. Registration is still open for the Saturday, February 25th class. Join museum staff for an afternoon of making and learning. Get inspiration from beadwork in the museum collection and create your very own piece. No prior beading experience required. All materials will be provided. Information on the session below:

The theme for Archives Week 2022 is #ArchivesAreYou. The Musée Héritage Museum, part of the Arts and Heritage Foundation of St. Albert (AHF), is excited to announce that the Father Lacombe Chapel is open this summer, reopening for the first time since 2019! We invite you to drop by during our open hours for tours of the chapel, grotto, and cemetery on historic Mission Hill. The AHF is proud to administer this provincially designated historic site!

The Arts and Heritage Foundation of St. Albert is excited to announce that the St. Albert Grain Elevator Park and River Lot Heritage Sites are open this summer beginning May 21, 2022. We invite you to drop by during our open hours for tours of the 1906 and 1929 grain elevators and the restored houses on River lots 23 and 24.

The Musée Héritage Museum Archives has a large collection of newspapers. We certainly have the St. Albert Gazette in all its transformations over the years, but we also have some early papers that circulated in the early 1900s.
First as we retrace the history of newspapers in St. Albert, the period from 1909 to 1915 saw as many as three different newspapers circulating in St. Albert, and all of them were published in French.
