Bentley is installing a high-tech driving sim at its factory to test ride comfort, cabin acoustics, and more.
The sim will speed up development by reducing the automaker’s dependence on real-world testing in far-flung locations.
In so doing, it will help cut around 85 tons of CO2 emissions per prototype.

Set to open in 2025, the new paint shop will allow Bentley to finish vehicles in nearly 100 different colors.
Customization is increasingly important to Bentley, whose Mulliner division grew 43 percent last year.
The 134,000-square-foot facility will house 370 employees in its four stories of office space.

Bentley has introduced the performance-focused Bentayga Apex Edition.
It features carbon fiber wheels, carbon ceramic brakes, and a carbon fiber styling package.
Production will be limited to 20 units and all have a twin-turbo 4.0-liter V8 with 542 hp.

The distinctive new plates were introduced to cut down on tax evasion.
Bentley sales in Korea have reportedly dropped by 77 percent since the plates were introduced.

Interior trimmings include diamonds, white gold, and a 200-million-year-old Autumn Stone veneer.
Power comes from the now-defunct twin-turbo 6.0-liter W12 engine.

In a move that may surprise many in the automotive industry, Adrian Hallmark stepped down from his role as the Bentley CEO to become the new boss of Aston Martin. Hallmark’s decision comes after a successful six-year term at the wheel of Bentley.
