Don't we love to go to beaches during summer time, right? A few weeks ago my girlfriend and I went to Surfside Beach in Texas. Lovely, quiet, small beach—an excellent place for a family to stop by and to chill out for a few hours. If you in Houston area and need to escape to a quiet place, go to Surfside Beach. Here is a cartoon I created for SigNews last summer. By the way, that newspaper for the Deaf/ASL community has been sadly & quietly closed. I miss receiving a copy every month for several years ..read more

Hey, I created this cartoon 20 years ago when I was a student at National Technical Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York. I believe that it was published in a Deaf creative arts magazine. That cartoon sure brings me good memories of my college life at RIT.  Let me share my story about my black-out drunkenness.... nah. I better keep that to myself. My bad. I was embarrassed.  Lol. So enjoy this art. Happy Memorial Day! Peace out ..read more

Happy Juneteenth! Juneteenth is a holiday that celebrates the end of slavery in the United States. The name Juneteenth is a combination of the words June and nineteenth. The day is also called Emancipation Day and Freedom Day. Naturally, I celebrate Juneteenth every year with people in America. This color image is showing a Black mother and daughter walking around the Emancipation Oak. I created the picture with others only in black and white in the coloring and activity book called "Black Deaf Lives Matter". The book is sold on Amazon: https://www.amazon.com/Black-Deaf-Lives.../dp/B0 ..read more

I want to share some good news with you about my art project that I had been working on for a long while. Finally it is done and complete. I worked with an author to create an awesome book. Her name is Lissa D. Ramirez-Stapleton - one of the best clients I have ever done business with. I thought Lissa and I worked together very well with that educational activity book. I developed illustrations with Black Deaf characters and historical events. The book is to honor Black Deaf Lives as we fight for all Black people. I myself found it very informative and enlightening. Excellent for anyone 9 year ..read more
