Don't we love to go to beaches during summer time, right? A few weeks ago my girlfriend and I went to Surfside Beach in Texas. Hey, I created this cartoon 20 years ago when I was a student at National Technical Institute for the Deaf at Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, New York.   Happy Juneteenth! Juneteenth is a holiday that celebrates the end of slavery in the United States. The name Juneteenth is a combination of the words June and nineteenth. The day is also called Emancipation Day and Freedom Day. Naturally, I celebrate Juneteenth every year with people in America. I want to share some good news with you about my art project that I had been working on for a long while. Finally it is done and complete. I worked with an author to create an awesome book. Her name is Lissa D. Ramirez-Stapleton - one of the best clients I have ever done business with. I thought Lissa and I worked together very well with that educational activity book. I developed illustrations with Black Deaf characters and historical events. The book is to honor Black Deaf Lives as we fight for all Black people.
