What are you clinging to, grasping at and holding on to?
Be Radiant

This tree has stood as the gateway between my sanctuary and the world. It bids me farewell as I leave and welcomes me upon my return. I touch its smooth trunk as I pass it in gratitude and acknowledgment. I love this tree. One rare, clear winter day, I gazed up as I touched its trunk and saw the blue sky through its branches. However, it was the slightly green leaves that caught my eye. It isn't a new leaf, as spring is still weeks away, but it looks like it has been there for a while. I know this tree weathered the season's storms full of freezing cold, hard rains, and strong wind gusts, and ..read more

Unlocking the Power of Manifestation Through a Positive Mindset
Be Radiant
by Deanna Jaromay
3M ago
It's that time when people set an intention for the year with a mantra or word while others practice manifestation rituals from simple prayer to multi-step/multi-day processes. I am of the latter. I start to feel into what could be in store for me, make a list that feels aligned, and then I go deep, asking myself why, finding the emotion behind the desire. This process can take days as I allow it to move and unfold at its own pace.  Whatever you call the process - goal setting, praying, or manifesting, by using positive thinking, visualization techniques, and taking inspired action towar ..read more

This too shall pass; reflecting on my crumbling world.
Be Radiant

This, too, shall pass. That is what my soul is telling me. Will it, though? Because it doesn't feel like it. It feels like everything keeps coming, I can't catch a break and I am cracking into a million pieces. My home is falling apart, with light fixtures blinking out of existence and walking into puddles of water in my bathroom, hallway, and bedroom.  As midday approached, I gathered ingredients to make a meal from my darkened pantry, with only the light from my hallway to guide me. I brought them to my darkened kitchen, lit only by the dining room light, because the pantry and kitchen ..read more

4 Simple Rituals to Keep Find Calm During the Holiday Season
Be Radiant
by Deanna Jaromay

This time of year is a dichotomy for me. We are in a season of slowing down; even Mother Nature is shedding her leaves and going within, and because we are nature, you may find your body nudging you to slow down by requiring more rest. However, the holiday season is upon us. Although it can be a time of joy and celebration, it can also be a time of busyness, stress, and anxiety. I understand firsthand that the holiday season can be a lot to handle, bringing up feelings of being overwhelmed. I often find myself overwhelmed this time of year with working a full-time job, running a business, taki ..read more

Reiki and Enhanced Immunity Going Beyond the Fad
Be Radiant
by Deanna Jaromay

A decade or so ago, people would scoff at the mention of energy work but look at chiropractic and acupuncture care. They are now widely accepted as medical care; many medical insurance may also cover the treatments. Nevertheless, Reiki has become a widespread wellness practice today, but its benefits go far beyond just being a trend. While it is often associated with relaxation and stress reduction, Reiki is a holistic healing practice that can help improve physical, emotional, and spiritual well-being. However, I want to discuss how Reiki can enhance our immune system. So, whether you're new ..read more

One Challenging Aspect of Shadow Work
Be Radiant
by Deanna Jaromay
7M ago
This past year was (and in some regards still is) the year of rediscovering me. I started this year feeling there would be a massive shift in my life, but I didn't realize that it would become a year-long journey to reclaim the lost parts of me. These facets of me hid deep in the recesses of my shadows, which needed illuminating and healing. The most challenging characteristic of reflecting may surprise you. It surprised me because I didn't think there was anything more difficult than the feelings I experienced when doing shadow work. Shadow work is uncomfortable and sometimes painful to conf ..read more

UnF**kablewith at 55

*Warning: Mild explicit language, maybe offensive to some readers Today, I turned 55 years old and am currently sitting under a tree with my weekly donut (blueberry, yummy!), I think to myself, "I don't feel 55." What? What am I saying? What does that mean?? It is not like I have an experience in this lifetime of what it is to be 55 years old. I know that thought came from my younger self, who expected that at 55, I'd be retired and relegated to age-appropriate activities such as gardening, eating dinner early, and going to bed before the sun sets. Hmmm, I do all of that, except I am not reti ..read more

Tips on Being Resilient
Be Radiant

As we say goodbye to June, I reflected on the past month and remembered reading that from an astrological perspective, June 2023 was one of the luckiest months of the year. Wholly Smokes and Cheese! Stop the presses! My June was far from being lucky! It was wrought with peaks and deep, deep valleys with no meadows in sight. I spent much of June gingerly tending to raw emotions and resting to heal my physical body. June emotionally stretched me, and I sat at either end of the emotional gamut on any given day. One day, feeling on the low end of the emotional gauge, I found myself driving around ..read more

MAMA CACAO - The spirit of Ceremonial Cacao
Be Radiant

A few years ago, when I first met Mama Cacao, I instantly knew she wanted to touch the hearts of many, and I knew I had to be of service to the one heart that connects us. However, my connection to her felt deep, transcending time and space. There was a feeling of familiarity as if this life was not the first time we met. It wasn't until a year ago when I had a Quantum Healing Hypnosis session, that what I felt was a remembrance of when we first met. It was a time before the time when I sat in a sacred circle with Mama Cacao, Ix Cacao, and my sisters, and cacao flowed through our veins. In th ..read more

You Are More Than Enough
Be Radiant
by Deanna Jaromay

Feeling the shifts occurring in my life, I believed I knew where life was leading me, even though I was surrendering and trusting my intuition (so I thought). Whenever I thought I knew where I was going, my life would shift in another direction. It happened so much that I sometimes felt I was just along for the ride. However, sitting in the unknown has brought up so many emotions, but it all stems from fear. Fear of: Being an imposter Not having a sustainable business Not having enough time with my family Not having enough time for me Not being enough or doing enough And the list goes on. I ..read more
