The Next Generation of Aerospace Medicine (NGAM) is a group designed to represent, co-ordinate and engage with UK students and early career professionals with an interest in aerospace medicine in order to promote the understanding of aerospace medicine and its application to all aspects of civilian and military aviation and human spaceflight.

NGAM Lecture Series
As our first Team to be up and running, the NGAM Lecture Team are already heading to the stratosphere. Adele (Uni of Aberdeen Aviation and Space Medicine Soc), Nina (Barts and the London Aerospace Medicine Soc, BLAMS) and Tooba (Liverpool Aviation & Space Medicine Society) have been working hard behind the scenes to tackle NGAM’s first challenge; to unite UK student societies and produce a monthly lecture series delivered by professionals in the field of aerospace medicine.

The second annual NGAM Presentation Competition has been formally announced on the Royal Aeronautical Society (RAeS) website and the Call for Abstracts can be found here.
This competition is open to all students (undergraduate and postgraduate) and professionals who are starting out in their careers in Aerospace Medicine or allied fields.
All you have to do is submit an abstract (2500 character max) to events@aerosociety.com by 0800 on 16 November. All entries will be judged by an expert panel and the top three will be given a free ticket to attend the RAeS Aerospace Medicine Sympos ..read more
