Can you believe this is happening? I had to double take when the last entry in this franchise launched—13 years ago in 2011! It’s certainly been a minute, that’s for sure. In all honesty, I didn’t see the reveal of TopSpin 2K25 coming in the slightest. Nor did anyone else, I suspect. That being said, tennis fans should keep their emotions in check here.
Our mini VIDEO REVIEW of TopSpin 2K25!Been There, Done That
This entry does have an awesome gameplay system that feels very hand-crafted and intuitive, yet it falls short of the net in several key areas. Namely in it’s suite of game modes, or ..read more

Children of the Sun features a formula that is simple but super effective. Just like The Real Slim Shady says, you only get one shot, do not miss your chance to blow—an enemy’s brains out. Thought that movie about curving bullets was impressive, huh? Think again. In this game, you literally become the bullet itself, changing trajectory to eliminate every target across the map.
Our VIDEO REVIEW of Children of the Sun!Hold My Ammo
Most of the levels have our eccentric-looking protagonist first scoping out the area with a sniper rifle, then numerically marking prey to be rammed by a single senti ..read more

In Ereban: Shadow Legacy you play as Ayana. She is the last known of her kind, the Ereban, which are a forgotten race that can become one with the shadows. You have been recruited by Helios, a power company that claims to be the “Giver of Energy to every corner of the galaxy.” Despite their seemingly positive exterior, it doesn’t take long to realise that something is truly amiss here. So, Ayana takes it upon herself to find out the truth about Helios and their ties to the disappearance of her people.
These shadow powers are super helpful!

What’s this? A 3D South Park game? We haven’t seen one of these since Nintendo’s controllers looked like bloomin’ batarangs. Who thought that was a good design? But seriously, is there anything special about South Park: Snow Day! other than its AA price point? And the fact that it’s not another turn-based RPG? Well, let’s plough on through.
Our VIDEO REVIEW of South Park: Snow Day!We Don’t Need No Education
If there’s one thing you’ll be doing in Snow Day a lot, it’d be real-time fighting wave after wave of kids dressed up in cute little battle gear. Yet again, you play as the aptly-named New ..read more

Katana fatigue setting in? Ghost of Tsushima, Sekiro, Like a Dragon: Ishin, Nioh – feels like every samurai story’s been told, right? Well, not exactly! Rise of the Ronin serves up a fresh take on this brutal era. Here’s why you won’t want to pass up on this Ronin’s wild ride through a changing Japan.
Check out our full video review of Rise of the Ronin here! The tale of Rise of the Ronin
Rise of the Ronin: it’s basically Feudal Japan’s Game of Thrones, but with more katanas and less dragons. Although a trained badger wouldn’t be totally out of the question. You play as a ronin, a samurai who ..read more

Long-time horror fans have been eating well over the last two years. First, we had the shockingly awesome Dead Space remake in 2023, in which the original was inspired by Resident Evil 4, and that also had its own remake later in the same year. Now in 2024, we’ve received the much anticipated Alone in the Dark reimagining, where the 1992 release actually inspired the very first Resident Evil. So we have truly gone full circle here, folks. Although, how does this new version stack up as a modern survival horror game? Well, that’s what we’re about to find out.

If you’ve never heard of this series, then you were most likely a wee little tyke when the original Outcast game was first released in 1999. Now, a quarter of a century later, this sequel to the first open-world game ever (that’s a fact, look it up) has finally hit our shores. In this modern landscape, Outcast: A New Beginning is looking to draw in a new audience while still paying homage to its roots. However, that may be easier said than done.

The WWE 2K series has been well established as the gaming industry’s leading wrestling sim. WWE 2K24 continues this trend, but not perfectly. There are many new features to enjoy here, but some areas are still underserved. But the question is, which ones are they?

Do you want to play a survival game that features infuriatingly nonsensical mechanics? How about a survival game that actively prevents you from protecting yourself against its various dangers? Well, if so, you’ll love Winter Survival.
Check out our quick review of Winter Survival here!Winter Survival has a story…
Winter Survival is Drago Entertainment’s latest outing, coming out of early access on March 7th, 2024. This is the same team that brought us the surprisingly entertaining Gas Station Simulator, which is much better than it sounds, trust me… But this latest release is a whole d ..read more
