We are already done with Week One of our Embrace the Word study, “A Bold Defense: Equipped with the Armor of God.” The week has flown by! However, it was a full week as we examined Paul’s admonishment to the Church at Ephesus to “put on the whole armor of God.”  This is a very familiar concept in scripture. We have come to the last few days of our Embrace the Word, Bold and Beautiful study. It has been a joy-filled journey to look into the lives of women whose faith and hope in God, our Father, have changed their lives.  This past week, we focused on Mary, the mother of Jesus. Mary is unlike any other woman in scripture. Her encounter with the angel Gabriel thrust her into God’s call and purpose for her life.
