Did you know that approximately 25% of white storks on the planet are born in Poland? That's right, 1 in 4 of these graceful birds is a Pole, hatched here in the European summer, before migrating to Southern Africa during our autumn for winter. It might be the White Eagle which is associated with the legend of Poland's foundation, but it is the 'Bocian' which Polish people love and treasure.
