2025 Ram 1500 RHO: A Twin-Turbo I6 Desert Truck to Rival the Raptor
The Drive
by Caleb Jacobs

Ram The Hellcat V8-powered Ram TRX died in 2023, leaving a super-truck-sized hole in the automaker’s lineup. Everybody knew it wouldn’t last long because Ram made it clear: Something else is coming. That “something else” is the 2025 Ram 1500 RHO, a heavily boosted performance pickup that looks an awful lot like the TRX but with a high-strung 3.0-liter Hurricane inline-six under the hood. Getting straight to business, the RHO makes 540 horsepower and 521 lb-ft of torque. No, that’s not as much as the 702-hp TRX, but it’s still more than a Ford F-150 Raptor on both fronts. While the Ram’s engin ..read more

Here’s Your Chance to Own the Ultimate Senna Souvenir: His Honda NSX
The Drive
by Jerry Perez

Senna.com via AutoTrader UK Ayrton Senna achieved star status pretty early on in his racing career for making crappy Formula 1 cars perform better than anyone could imagine. By the time he got to McLaren, he was already a global superstar loved by millions in his home country of Brazil and abroad. After his tragic death in 1994, everything Senna-related became collectible and highly sought-after. Well, that game peaks here, because Senna’s 1991 Honda NSX is officially up for sale and ready to make a superfan’s entire existence. Listed by AutoTrader UK, the red Honda NSX was Senna’s personal c ..read more

My 1966 Ford Dump Truck Is Still Sputtering Along, but I Want It To Sing
The Drive

Caleb Jacobs I would not call my 1966 Ford dump truck unreliable. I love it too much to say that. What I will say is that in my four years of ownership, I’ve never quite solved its fuel problems. Maybe, just maybe, you can help me whip it into shape. Click here to paw through previous entries and check out all our project cars. It’s been a good while since I’ve written about the mighty F600, so pull up a chair while I recap my adventures with the Blue Oval workhorse that’s more than twice my age. Caleb Jacobs I acquired the single-axle machine in April of 2020. Spring is always busy for our f ..read more

2024 Tesla Model 3 Performance: 0-60 in 2.9s for $47K After Credit
The Drive
by José Rodríguez Jr.

Tesla Tesla’s entry-level EV is getting another update, and this time it’s all about the performance of the lowly Model 3. While the sedan still hasn’t received the Plaid treatment, the newly released “Highland” variant has now produced the new Tesla Model 3 Performance, which is faster and better equipped for carving backroads thanks to a few powertrain and suspension improvements. Tesla calls the 2024 Model 3 Performance the “most powerful Model 3 ever,” and preliminary testing from Top Gear seems to back that up. The trim is based on the Model 3 Long Range, meaning it adopts the same dual ..read more

This BMW E36 Broke Its Engine—Then It Became a Dream Car
The Drive

Tom Gorelik Raised around cars, professionally trained in elite restorations, and now helping run his family’s specialty auto shop—Michael Spyropoulos’s gearhead resume is strong. His personal project car, a ’97 BMW 3 Series, looks pretty modest from 20 feet away. But up close and under the hood, you can tell this is one of the cleanest E36s on the road. The BMW E36 was the 3 Series of the ’90s. It enjoyed a few eras of popularity within various niches of the car scene as it got older, and for a while there an E36 was a super-cheap ticket to the world of sporty rear-drive German cars. Well, u ..read more

Elon Musk Teases ‘More Affordable Models’ to Bump Tesla’s Falling Stock
The Drive
by Nico DeMattia

Tesla. A few weeks ago, Tesla’s stock dipped a bit after Reuters reported that the entry-level, $25,000 Model 2 was being dropped in favor of autonomous robotaxis. CEO Elon Musk then fired back in a post on the social media platform he owns, claiming Reuters was lying, but failed to provide any further explanation. Then, earlier this week, Tesla reported that its first-quarter net profit plummeted to its lowest point in six years. In response to all this, Musk used an earnings call to once again push the idea of robotaxis—and, weirdly, humanoid robots—while tossing in a few throwaway lines ab ..read more

Home Depot’s spring Black Friday Sale is Worth Getting Amped About

Home Depot knows you’re itching to get something done now that it’s actually nice out. That’s why it’s helping feed your motivations with its Spring Black Friday sale. Naturally, most of the deals it’s running revolve around home and yard projects, but there are a few that’ll go a long way in the garage. You already know I rounded up the best of those up for you.  It’s really hard for me not to give the deal Milwaukee M12 FUEL 1/4-inch right angle die grinder kit some love. I’ve said it a hundred times this week alone—I really dig this tool. I snagged one a few years back and have used i ..read more

The Michelin Man Wants To Talk About His Future And Reincarnation
The Drive
by Michael Febbo

Michelin Guide He isn’t just the “Michelin Man.” He has a name, and it’s Bibendum—which is Latin for drinking. It’s a long story. The anthropomorphic stack of tires who looks like an inflatable mummy is 125 years old or so, depending on who you ask. I’ve been meeting up with him at races and tire events like this every few years for the last couple of decades and he hasn’t changed a bit. Still, Michelin brought a group of journalists to Sonoma, California to talk about his and every other tire’s end-of-life plan. Bibendum isn’t interested in a Viking funeral or being buried like so many of hi ..read more

Electric 2025 Mercedes G-Class Combines New and Old Tech Like Nothing Before It
The Drive
by Nico DeMattia

Mercedes, edited by author The Mercedes G-Class is one of the original off-road icons—a mainstay in every sense of the word. First built in the 1970s, the G-Wagen debuted initially as a rugged, utilitarian SUV that was far happier off the road than on it. Over the decades that followed, it morphed into a luxury model while maintaining its body-on-frame underpinnings and four-wheeling capability. Now, Mercedes is changing it in the most radical way by making it electric. Unfortunately, the first-ever all-electric G-Class may also mark Mercedes’ worst model name to date. Keep in mind this is th ..read more

The Subaru Legacy Is Being Discontinued After 36 Years
The Drive
by Andrew P. Collins

Subaru The 2025 Subaru Legacy will be the last of its line. After six generations, the U.S.-built sedan’s run is coming to an end. After next year, all that it’ll leave behind is, well—you get the idea. The Legacy first dropped in 1989, but it’s probably better known as “the non-off-roady Outback.” The Outback of course came out later, in the mid-’90s, but feels more culturally significant today as the harbinger of the cladded and adventurous aesthetic that the whole car scene is currently steeped in. The Legacy sedan was and is significant in its own right too, though. The early 1990s were a ..read more
