DISCLOSURE OR DISINFO? Back Any netizen who’s been following the UFO community over the past 10 years or so has probably noticed a variety of new characters popping up, many of whom are parroting the same script. They aren’t even arguing amongst themselves anymore like they’ve been doing for decades. This fact alone is highly suspect! Since when have UFOlogists ever agreed on anything?!! Are they media sellouts or manipulated researchers? It begs the question: is this all a coordinated government disinfo campaign being spoonfed to the public? I think so. The facts speak for themselves: The Roc ..read more

The Howling

I wasn’t sure I wanted to post this topic this month as it’s not a ghost story or probably even paranormal (but it could be). Please, if anyone out there is experiencing anything similar you can write to us at: madamegstearoom@yahoo.com. That said, here we go. Everyone who’s lived around dogs has heard them howl that mournful, drawn-out sound that just chills you to the bone. You know, the typical Hollywood wolf howl from monster movies! Well, for approximately the past year (actually, since January 2022) I have heard a cacophony of howls go down my block and up the adjoining alley almost ever ..read more

WHAM! BAM! HOLY RAVIOLI, BATMAN!

Unexpected Guests A nagging concern often voiced by both the conventionally “religious” and by New Age or spiritually-oriented people is the possibility that evil or negative influences may be lurking behind paranormal phenomena, capable even of attacking the unprepared or unwary. Naturally, if you practice the occult under the influence or fail to take it seriously enough you are risking your mental health. But could there be more to it than that? Are you actually risking your very sanity, not to mention your own soul? We don’t really understand how the unconscious mind works, and no one has ..read more

The Nativity Virgin Birth

This year I thought I’d examine the narrative surrounding the birth of Christ, or the Nativity as it has become known, from our modern perspective. This is by definition a Christian view and for the purposes of this blog, I am going to be quoting from that religion’s teachings and bible translations. Merry Christmas & Happy Holidays everyone! Now let’s proceed. Historians generally agree that during the first century in Judaea girls were married off as young teens and Jewish girls could be married as early as 12 years and a day, though it was common to wait until age 12 and a half. As Jose ..read more

Jen Gacy – Pinterest Looking forward to All Hallows’ Eve? After the past (almost) two years of pandemic panic, Halloween just isn’t very scary anymore. Don’t worry though, Hollywood never disappoints! Here are some of my all-time favorite movie monsters to watch on the big screen (tv, that is) this year: 10 The Golem | All but forgotten these days, this unfortunate creature from Jewish folklore was captured in pre-Nazi German cinematic history by the 1920 silent horror film Der Golem depicting a clay servant summoned to life by a Jewish Rabbi in medieval Prague. 9 Black Cats | Historically fea ..read more

I was rushing to get it posted, especially since we didn’t post a blog in June, and I feel it’s important to get this information out there as a collection of actual news items you may have missed in the past eighteen months and prior. So let’s get to it! QA ..read more

Fairies: Real, Or Just A Fairytale?

This month deare readers, we explore the fairyland world of nature spirits – fairies included! Perhaps the best-known examples in modern fairy lore are the Cottingley Fairies. A series of five photographs, these were publicized in 1920 by the writer Sir Arthur Conan Doyle, who published them in a Christmas article he wrote for The Strand Magazine. Doyle as a spiritualist who took the photos at face value, interpreting them as clear proof of psychic phenomena. The actual photos had been taken by two girl cousins in Cottingley, England – the first three in 1917, and the last in 1920. Not surpris ..read more

Great Caesar’s Ghost: The Ides of March

Introduction It seems like our country has been plagued with the dubious gift of bipartisan politics for the last few years. I’m not sure that our founding fathers would have been entirely proud of the present political system, based more on a candidate’s financial ability to compete than their intellect or the support of their constituents. It might surprise you to learn that ancient Rome, the origin of our concept of democracy, was rocked by its own scandals back in the day, no less than we are. And female celebrities of the day, like Cleopatra, were just as newsworthy in swaying public opin ..read more

OBEs, NDEs, and Remote Viewing

This month we explore three very similar, yet unique forms of clairvoyance popularized by the movies and mainstream media. It’s more than semantics.  Remote viewing (RV) takes a task-oriented approach, as opposed to a freeform journey experienced by a person privately as out-of-body-experiences (OBEs) or as unplanned near-death experiences (NDEs). RV was originally intended to follow strict military protocols developed four decades ago by the Department of Defense (DOD), the Navy, and the Army. These days, remote viewing has been diluted down into a variety of popular online courses taugh ..read more
