Feeling tugged by social media, emails, and the vibrations of digital devices? These days, it can be challenging to live “in the moment.” It’s ironic that we’re talking about digital detox on the internet, but that’s just how it is nowadays: even digital detoxing has to begin digitally. When left unchecked, tech fatigue can insidiously affect our health. It’s even more important to go off the grid when we’re on vacation. Check out this article by TripConcierge.co about combining digital detox with your holidays. “In an age of speed, I began to think, nothing could be more invigorating than goi ..read more

This blog post explores different aspects of growing up male, erotic orientation, and what it means to have a healthy sexuality. It’s not always easy for guys to find their way through gender and sexual realms. Check out this article found on kimberlykeiser.com, which explores these themes.
Historically, no one wants to talk about straight men having sex with other men. It’s too taboo. One of the most common areas we see sexual fluidity, though, is within heterosexual relationships with one straight spouse and one non-straight spouse.

The Coral Triangle is, without question, the greatest center of biodiversity in the marine world. Even though it holds just 1.5% of the total ocean area across the globe, it houses:
76% of coral species on the planet
Nearly 50% of known marine life
Six of the world’s seven marine turtle species
The Coral Triangle is considered one of the three mega-ecological complexes on our planet, together with the Congo Basin and the Amazon Rainforest.
We stumbled on this listicle on Reef-World.org, that describes how the Coral Triangle is, well, the superlative of superlatives. It’ll probably have you loo ..read more

We may think statues of Greek men naked was the norm in the ancient world. But nude statues weren’t just art – they embodied heroism, immaculateness, and beauty. Nudity was used as a uniform that distinguished the divine and the social elite.
And yet, historians don’t know specifically why the Greeks showed nudity more than other ancient cultures. Were they more free of textiles in their daily life? Did showing someone naked bind the culture together? Were the Greeks simply eroticizing the human form?

Do oysters make you horny? For some people, the answer is “yes.” We found that there’s a good reason for this: these molluscs are a rich source of zinc, which increases testosterone (as well as sperm count). Hey, if you’re not sure about your sperm count, we could try to, uh, count it for you. Perhaps we could keep track of this – in the name of science, of course! – at The Naked French Villa. As one of our Off-the-Beaten-Path activity options on that trip, we travel right to the source of this aphrodisiac, to eat what many believe to be “the best oysters in the world.”

Are you curious about nudism, but concerned that you’ll be judged negatively? Shame can be a powerful deterrent to nudism. At Everything To Sea, we believe that there’s a deeper purpose to shedding off clothes: Being naked is a way to practice self-acceptance. There comes a time when we have to question from where shame around nudity stems. Also, who or what perpetuates it… and why? Some of these answers are candidly expressed, in an article we found on British Naturism.
As a newish Naturist I have been thinking about how and when I share my newfound philosophy and lifestyle with non-Naturists ..read more

We recently were buzzing around Quora.com killing some time, and found this lightbulb joke (we love lightbulb jokes!)
Q: How many Freudian psychologists does it take to change a light bulb?
A: Two. One to change the bulb and one to hold the penis… we mean ladder.
Five years into running an all-male, clothing-optional travel company, we’ve become a Sigmund Freud in our own right, a father of the male traveler ‘psyche-analysis’. While we’re all about embracing diversity and against stuffing people in boxes, we’ve noticed a pattern.
