History of Disc Golf   Disc golf was first played in Canada in 1926. As per the complete book of frisbee, the earliest history of disc golf was recorded in Bladworth, Sasatchewan, Canada in 1926. Ronald Gibson and his buddies from Bladworth Elementary School played a game in which they throw tin lids into four wide circles. There were 4-foot-wide circles which were drawn into sandy patches on the school ground of Ronald Gibson and some of his school friends. Winter Season.. Up here in the North the snow is falling, the temperatures are going into the negative. As of 2021 we can look forward to altered and new rules regarding Disc Golf. Important to note: “The items listed below were approved by the board of directors and will take effect on January 1, 2021. They will NOT appear in the online versions of the PDGA Official Rules of Disc Golf or the PDGA Competition Manual for Disc Golf Events until the day they take effect” What are your thoughts on this? Primetime on a Tuesday The ESPN2 broadcast of the Disc Golf Pro Tour Championship finals will air on Tuesday, November 24th, at 8 PM Eastern, the heart of primetime two days before Thanksgiving. The 2-hour show will feature the finals of both MPO and FPO, giving airtime to Hailey King, Paige Pierce, Catrina Allen, Lisa Fajkus, Kevin Jones, Chris Dickerson, Austin Hannum, and Calvin Heimburg.
