Creating a scrapbook is something I have always loved and appreciated. I consider myself a beginner to it as I have not quite mastered the habit of doing it regularly – or even remotely quickly. I would love to do it more but I find myself, sometimes, just unsure where to start or what I need. So, I’ve put together a list of a few tips and essentials. These help me to get into the right frame of mind and actually scrapbook. They reduce the distractions, which helps. Here are some of my top tips – 1. Don’t overthink it.  This one is definitely easier said than done for me. I really strugg ..read more

It’s World Stationery Day! I cannot believe it’s already come by, this month has zoomed past here. I have spent the entire day playing with a bunch of my stationery, writing some letters for some friends and scrapbooking too! This week, I have been rooting through boxes of stationery that was in my storage. Going through it was so nice. Unfortunately, as I am in the process of moving, I no longer have a little craft room. Rather, I live out of boxes whilst I’m at my old home and am slowly taking things over to my new place. Since it is a temporary move (apparently), we haven’t taken too much ..read more

With National Stationery Week coming and the country finally opening up, moving on from the pandemic, now is a perfect time for stationery companies to consider partnering up and sponsoring the event. It also happens to be the best time for me to return to actively blogging once more. Every year, the week has “7 Days of Stationery” with each day sponsored by a different company. Wow, so it’s been way too long since I have posted here. However, planning a wedding, studying and all of the other ridiculous things that happened during the pandemic did not help. This year, it is back for the 9th time. Starting today – on 13th February 2022 – artists all around the world are joining to participate in this project. The project is very simple. Create something every day for 100 days. That’s pr ..read more

However, without further ado, I wanted to kick things off with the Ultimate Stationery Giveaway! For your chance to win over £1,500 worth of stationery goodies, continue to read this post and get involved. It’s World Postcard Day – and the anniversary of the postcard itself! Postcards are a great way to send your loved ones something nice to find in amidst all of the junk mail that they likely get. Without further ado, let’s celebrate World Postcard Day today – on the 1st of October. This year, postcards have been providing joy to thousands for 151 years. Why Celebrate World Postcard Day? I actually received a postcard this morning, which makes this blog post pretty fun to be writing right now. It is currently sitting next to me showcasing some of the beautiful scenery from Switzerland – as one ..read more

Thinking of You Week is not a new concept or national holiday. However, this year, it feels much more important than perhaps it did before. Given the current times, there are so many people stuck at home, without loved ones. With another lockdown ahead of us, it’s become even more of an issue. The week itself starts now – on 21st September to 27th September. It focuses on reaching out to loved ones through my favourite medium: physical post. Send a card to someone this week! If you need a card, keep reading for a free PDF of one you can print out! Thinking of You Week This week has been intro ..read more

For #FountainPenFriday, it seemed entirely appropriate to share the reasons why I love writing with fountain pens. In fact, I actually write most of my journal entries and letters using one. Writing a letter without using one has become a little odd now. It happens, when the paper isn’t right for the fountain pen ink but it is rare. As such, here are my top ten reasons why I use a fountain pen – and hopefully, to tell you why you should too! I used my Manuscript Curve Fountain pen for this, which I am really enjoying writing with. It has a very smooth ink flow and is very comfortabl ..read more

In the spirit of Halloween, I thought it was an opportune time to get involved in a fun little Halloween tag – also known as the Hallotober Tag! I was tagged in this by Sabina over at RoseGold Reports, who is a relatively new blogger and I’m so pleased to see new bloggers surface into the community. This a new tag – perfect for this time of year, of course – so I am excited to see how far it goes! Without further ado, let us get straight into it. What’s your favourite thing about October? For me, October is a month full of some important birthdays. So it’s a really great month in that it ..read more
