After a hard-fought match from both sides, Charlotte FC and the Vancouver Whitecaps drew 1-1. VANCOUVER, BC–Vancouver Whitecaps opened their 50th anniversary season before a home opener record crowd of 29, 624 at BC Place and played to a 1-1 draw with Charlotte FC. After winning the season opener at home 1-0 against New York City FC, Charlotte FC begins a road trip with a match against the Vancouver Whitecaps on Saturday, March 2.
