The Portland Timbers visited St. Louis  City on Saturday night.  Neither team could find the net and in the end, it was a 0-0 draw. The defensive struggles of the 2024 Timbers continued on Saturday night at Providence Park, resulting in a 2-2 draw with the Houston Dyanmo.  Felipe Mora and Nathan Fogaça had the goals for the Timbers, while Sebastian Kowalczyk and Adalberto Carrasquilla would score for the visitors. The Portland Timbers did have an early lead in Minnesota, but could not hold onto it, and ended up at the short end of a 2-1 result against United.  Jonathan Rodríguez had the lone goal for the Timbers, while Robin Lod and Jeong Sang-bin had the goals for the hosts.
