Speaker of Oyo State House of Assembly, RT Hon. Adebo Ogundoyin, on Tuesday, declared that it is time the federal government under President Muhammadu Buhari harkens to the popular call for the total overhaul of the Nigeria Police Force.

The Federal Government, on Tuesday, said it might consider adoption of University Transparency Account System (UTAS) presented by the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU).
UTAS, proposed by ASUU to the Federal Government, is an alternative emoluments payment platform to the Integrated Payroll and Personnel Information System (IPPIS).

Zahra posted one of the viral images, which shows three fists with the hashtag #EndPoliceBrutality, on her Instagram stories.

Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde on Saturday confirmed the death of Jimoh Isiaka, one of the EndSARS protesters in Ogbomosho, a town in Oyo State.
“I have received with deep sadness the news of the passing of one of our children, Jimoh Isiaka, who was shot during the ENDSARS protest in Ogbomoso. He later died at Bowen University Teaching Hospital, Ogbomoso, earlier today,” Makinde tweeted.

Pastor Sam Adeyemi of the Daystar Christian Center has asked the Nigerian Government to stop firing live bullets and teargas at peaceful protesters demanding an end to police brutality in the country.
