American-born Lagos-bred Nigerian singer-songwriter KUKU bridges the gap between his Yoruba roots and the western world. After years of touring and four independent releases in the US, KUKU relocated to France. There he released the critically acclaimed 2012 album "Soldier of Peace" (Balogun ÌRÒRÙN). According to French magazine AMINA, KUKU straddles the worlds of Fela Kuti and Cat Stevens.
