This was the fifth and final game of the the Hawks’ early season road-trip, as they will be returning to Atlanta for a matchup against the Brooklyn Nets on Tuesday. The Hawks used an egalitarian offensive attack to beat Milwaukee 127-110 on the road back on October 29, with eight players taking at least nine shots, and scoring 12 or more points. Dejounte Murray held Damian Lillard to just six points on 2-for-12 shooting in the first matchup between these two sides. Atlanta hoped to ..read more

Photos by Logan Riely/NBAE via Getty Images The Atlanta Hawks secured a hard-fought victory against the struggling San Antonio Spurs, prevailing with a final score of 137-135. The Spurs, entering and exiting the matchup with only two wins this season, faced a formidable challenge throughout the game. Despite a less-than-ideal start, with the Hawks yielding 35 points in the first quarter to a Spurs team averaging just 27.6 points in previous first quarters, Trae Young emerged as a game-changer in the second half, leading the Hawks to victory. In the opening quarter, Trae Young faced initial cha ..read more

Photo by Jason Miller/Getty Images The Atlanta Hawks lost a road game to the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night. Playing without Jalen Johnson for the second time this season, the defense was not commendable. The Hawks and Cavaliers played relatively evenly throughout the first quarter, though defensive lapses started early for the Hawks. The Cavs scored their first 12 points in the paint, and they weren’t well defended. However, such lapses were offset by the offense early on. Dejounte Murray made two three-pointers, while Bogdanovic and Young each added one of their own. After one quart ..read more

Photo by Jason Miller/Getty Images The Hawks travelled to Cleveland for their final In-Season Tournament game this season barring a crazy sequence of events. The early action in this game was pretty tight between both squads. Clint Capela certainly made his mark in the first quarter with eight points and three rebounds, two of them offensive. Bogdan Bogdanovic also continued his early season shooting streak, including on this walk-up triple here. ️ogi ️ucket pic.twitter.com/YMbsAf8AGx — Bally Sports: Hawks (@HawksOnBally) November 29, 2023 After one quarter, the Hawks led by a thin margin a ..read more
