The Indianapolis Colts currently have $28.41 million in available cap space, according to Over the Cap (OTC). So, where does this rank in comparison to the rest of the NFL following the 2024 NFL Draft? With their third selection in the fifth round of the 2024 NFL draft, the Indianapolis Colts selected cornerback Jaylin Simpson out of Auburn at 164th overall. In addition to landing Simpson, the Colts gained a sixth round pick – No. 201 overall – in a trade with Philadelphia, that moved them from pick 155 to pick 164. The deadline for unrestricted free agent additions to count towards the compensatory pick formula has passed, so Nick Korte of Over the Cap has projected which teams will receive compensatory draft picks in 2025.
