Women’s live soccer today has grown immensely popular over the decade as more teams and athletes shine a spotlight on women’s soccer. Women’s soccer has also produced some of the highest-paid athletes in the field, encouraging more women to partake in the sport. So it’s Monday evening and the dust may have seemed to settle but legend has it that some United fans are still watching the 20th re-run of Saturday’s early kick-off and who would blame them? The opening weekend did not disappoint, not even a bit. No single goalless game, no single draw. We had hat-tricks, players scoring on their debut’s and the odd loss. So let’s see what happened. Tottenham Hotspur 1-0 Manchester City. The last game of the weekend. The one everyone was waiting for and man did it entertain. The scoreline may paint a different picture but all the tactical battles all over the ..read more

The new season is almost upon us and no one is more excited than I am. The first full season I’ll be able to watch for more than 4 years. Many teams looking very, very strong. Surprise packages who many people have no idea about (Brentford). Arsenal Football Club still employ Mikel Arteta so a lot of premium AFTV content on the way. Ah trying to tailor a fitting preview for this coming season is almost impossible but watch me try So the most commonly covered topics in previews are title challenge, top 6, relegation and individual awards but I’m trying to tie this up with a game week 1 preview ..read more

The premier league is back! Three game week’s in and we’ve already had more than 3 red cards, more than 20 penalties, broke the record for goals scored in a single game week and Liverpool are already 6 points clear in the title race. Let’s pick it apart. Liverpool 3-1 Arsenal The match of the weekend, in theory. The first half was classic attack vs defense as Arsenal insisted on playing out from the back putting themselves under immense pressure from the Liverpool front three + Keita. But the gunners took a shock lead when Liverpool’s attacking full back assisted Lacazette who made it 3 in 3 ..read more

The Champions league this season was nothing short of unconventional. With the effects of the Covid 19 on football around the globe, The UEFA Champions league wasn’t spared. But eventually it came back and it did not disappoint at all. Let’s take a look at each fixture post-lock down. *Round of 16. The Champions league returned in the beginning of August after its long Hiatus. It was a confusing tie because some round of 16 matches had been finished, with Atalanta and Leipzig surprisingly proceeding to the Quarters. But ManCity, Madrid, Barcelona, Napoli, Lyon, Juventus, Bayern and Chelsea sti ..read more

I’m sorry, I’ve been missing for a minute, its been a tough week But I’m back and its been quite an eventful week. Top Four Race is nothing straight-forward. Before United played yesterday, this thing looked finished. But they managed to bottle it after the road to 3rd was absolutely paved for them by abysmal performances by both Chelsea and Leicester. So current standings have Chelsea 3rd with 60 pts and +14GD and both Leicester and United on 59 points with Leicester having a Gd of 29 and United 26. With City’s ban being over tuned, its do or die for all three teams with three to play. United ..read more

This has been by far the most eventful game week since the restart and we can see that the players are getting back into their rhythm. Lets analyse it further. The Defending Champions batter the current Champions. This was by far the most anticipated game of the game week. Newly crowned Liverpool traveled to The Emptyhad to take on their predecessors. 2nd took on 1st. Manchester City last time out practically handed over the trophy in a loss to Chelsea and subsequently had to do the guard of honor for the reds. But they sure didn’t show them any respect on the pitch. The game started with some ..read more

Due to public demand, i’ll be reviewing the four quarter final games played this weekend. Ceballos saves Arsenal further embarrassment from slipping Sheffield. On Sunday the gunners traveled to Bramall lane to see if they could make it 2 in 2. David Luiz came back from his suspension and made the starting eleven after extending his contract. Maitland-Niles came back from a lengthy spell out of the side. The game started as expected, awful defending from the London club. Saved twice in the first quarter of the game by VAR and Emi Martinez. The game changed when Chris Basham made a cynical chall ..read more

This has to be the most heart breaking piece i’ll ever have to write but it has to be done. So lets get to it. Chelsea clinch the title for Liverpool. If there was a game to clinch the title for Liverpool, this was it. Is there anything this game didn’t have ? Stakes, red card, penalty, free-kick goal, amazing solo run, defensive blunder and even Captain America. Any other game I would have loved to see City absolutely get bossed like that but this game in particular hurt for every real ManUtd fan out there. But lets take a closer look at this freak game. The first half wasn’t as controversial ..read more
