So I thought I found my niche writing short stories but apparently my I recently discovered that I love writing articles, I mean I still love writing short stories just not as much as articles. I love to read but have gotten away with it over the years especially since I have a family and all but when I do I have some of my favorite books that I think are a must read. I love Crime and Mystery novels, I love all the old classics like Pride and Prejudice, Dracula, and so (but never got a chance to read them. I love Fifty Shades of Grey by E.L. James, Bella Tuscany by Frances Mays, The Girl With Dragon Tattoo by Stieg Larson, and finally Heat Rises By Richard Castle. Good morning!! Every week on Tuesdays and Fridays I challenge myself to write either an article or short story. I try to write short stories that are five hundred word count to a thousand or over a thousand and articles I do about six hundred to a little over seven hundred word count. I think the most I typed for short story was over two-thousand word count. It's good for writers to challenge themselves whether you're a beginner, intermediate, or an expert. I have read that when writing articles you should stick to your niche, lets mine is supernatural, paranormal and I still write in those categories however I also love to write about photography, fact or fiction or pets, travel, or maybe beauty. I don't believe everything I read. Some also say it will hurt your writing if you don't stay within your niche but I say otherwise.
