The Los Angeles Rams have done an excellent job finding undrafted gems, from Kurt Warner and London Fletcher to Johnny Hekker and Rodney McLeod. Most recently, Alaric Jackson has turned into a fantastic find post-draft, becoming the team’s starting left tackle in 2023. This year, the Rams signed 16 undrafted rookies and hope to find at least one future contributor in that group. It’s hard to gauge which ones might make the 53-man roster this season, but UDFAs typically take a year or two on the practice squad before getting the chance to start anyway. Among the undrafted free agents signed by ..read more

Rams considered trading back from No. 83 until Blake Corum fell to them

One of the biggest surprises in the 2024 NFL draft is that the Los Angeles Rams only traded back once. Les Snead typically strikes several deals over the course of draft weekend, but he only made one trade: a move up from No. 52 to 39 in Round 2. Snead and the Rams considered other trades, including a move back from No. 83 overall in the third round. That is, until Blake Corum was sitting there on the board. Snead recently said on the “Rich Eisen Show” that the Rams were considering trading down from the 83rd pick but they didn’t want to pass up the opportunity to take Corum – especially becau ..read more

Blake Corum, Rams among best scheme fits from 2024 NFL draft
Rams Wire

The Los Angeles Rams had one of the best rushing attacks in the NFL last season thanks to the sudden emergence of Kyren Williams. After a quiet rookie year in 2022, Williams broke out as one of the top running backs in football, leading the league in rushing yards per game last year. Yet, Sean McVay and Les Snead still opted to add a running back in the third round by selecting Blake Corum out of Michigan 83rd overall. It was a somewhat surprising pick by the Rams, but McVay loves his fit in the offense as a complementary piece behind Williams. Doug Farrar of Touchdown Wire is a big fan of Cor ..read more

5 things to know about new Rams OL Beaux Limmer
Rams Wire
by Cameron DaSilva

The Los Angeles Rams waited until Day 3 of the NFL draft to address the offensive line, selecting Beaux Limmer in Round 6 at No. 217 overall. Limmer went much later than expected after being graded as a fourth-round prospect by The Athletic’s Dane Brugler and a fifth-rounder by NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein, so the Rams got great value in Round 6. Limmer spent his college career at Arkansas and was a standout lineman at both center and guard, bringing excellent position flexibility to the Rams’ offensive line. Here are five things to know about the rookie lineman ..read more

Rams not projected to receive any compensatory picks in 2025 for free-agent losses this offseason
Rams Wire

The Los Angeles Rams changed their strategy in free agency this offseason. Rather than primarily targeting players who were cut by other teams and letting some of their top free agents walk, they did they opposite. They re-signed their top guy in Kevin Dotson and also brought in some high-level free agents such as Jonah Jackson, Colby Parkinson and Kamren Curl. The result? A lack of compensatory picks in the 2025 NFL draft. Because the Rams signed a few qualified free agents and didn’t suffer any major losses, they’re not going to have any additional picks for their departures. According to Ov ..read more

Sean McVay: Rams, Matthew Stafford 'taking it a year at a time'
Rams Wire

Matthew Stafford just turned 36 in February, making him one of the oldest quarterbacks in football. That doesn’t mean he can’t still play at a high level, though. He showed last season that he’s still one of the best in the league at his position, finishing eighth in MVP voting and fourth in the Comeback Player of the Year race. Despite the fact that he’s approaching 40 years old, Stafford has shown no signs of slowing down. And with three years still left on his contract, it’s reasonable to think he could play for the Rams through the 2026 season. Sean McVay was asked about Stafford’s future ..read more

Rams Wire
by Cameron DaSilva

Although there are a lot of new faces on the Rams’ roster heading into the 2024 season, there are also a lot of players returning from last year. As was the case from the 2021 to 2022 season, the Rams don’t have much roster turnover from last season. According to Jason Fitzgerald of Over The Cap, the Rams are among the teams with the highest percentage of players returning at 74.7%. That ranks seventh in the NFL, with the Packers leading the way with 81.8% of their players returning for the 2024 season. The Rams had the least roster turnover in 2022 after their Super Bowl win, but that didn’t ..read more

Who is the Rams' best sleeper pick from the 2024 NFL draft?
Rams Wire

It’s hard not to like what the Rams did in the 2024 NFL draft, coming away with a 10-player class filled with immediate contributors and future starters. Jared Verse was a perfect selection in Round 1, while Braden Fiske, Blake Corum and Kamren Kinchens should all get meaningful snaps as rookies in 2024. In addition to those four players, the Rams had six other selections on Day 3 of the draft and there’s a good chance at least a couple of those players will have key roles in Year 1. But who was their best sleeper pick? If you ask Doug Farrar of Touchdown Wire, it was Washington State edge rus ..read more

5 undrafted rookies with the best chance to make the Rams' 53-man roster
Rams Wire

The journey of the undrafted free agent is not one for the faint of heart. Having to go through the pre-draft process, knowing the eyes of the scouts are not on you. Watching each pick come through, going through the pain of watching that player not be you. Even worse, as that pick’s family embraces them in celebration, the joy of a lifetime dream coming into reality, your family sits patiently, trying to keep the faith. The journey of the undrafted free agent is not one of envy but its path bears fruit to the lucky few. Many players have embarked on long, fruitful careers despite going undra ..read more

Colin Cowherd ranks the Rams as a top-4 team in the NFL for 2024

The Los Angeles Rams were one of 14 teams to make the playoffs last season, a year in which they were rebuilding with the second-youngest roster in football. They didn’t manage to escape the first round of the postseason, losing a heartbreaker to the Detroit Lions in the wild-card game, but the Rams sent a message to the rest of the league that they’re close to contending again. Looking ahead to the 2024 season, they’re in great position to make another Super Bowl run. Of course, that’ll be more difficult without Aaron Donald leading the defense, but the Rams made several notable additions on ..read more
