As I mentioned a few weeks ago, forgiveness is powerful and has a huge, positive impact on your life. After seeing the popularity of that blog, I decided to share an effective way of forgiving. First, to help us better forgive, I want to explain that there are two primary levels of forgiveness: forgiveness from […] The post How Do You Forgive? appeared first on Zenith Ministries ..read more

A Prayer To Grow Your Trust In God
Zenith Ministries Blog

To grow your trust in God, you need to exercise it. Basically, you activate your trust in God, which in turn strengthens your trust in God. This is very much like how pro athletes grow in their skills to play at their level. In the mid-1990s, Michael Jordan starred with Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, and […] The post A Prayer To Grow Your Trust In God appeared first on Zenith Ministries ..read more

The following is the wonderful talk shared with with us at our September 13th Summit event where Miriam Hodges spoke on the Bible verse, Exodus 14:14 – “The Lord will fight for you; you have only to keep still.” I don’t know about anyone else, but I’ve found myself relating more and more to the […] The post The Lord Will Fight For You – Sept 13 Summit Talk By Miriam Hodges appeared first on Zenith Ministries ..read more

How To Kill Humility
Zenith Ministries
by Thomas Clements

Humility is not thinking of yourself as having little worth. It is recognizing your true worth, not greater or less in any way. It is seeing yourself as you truly are. Humility is a way of thinking, an approach to reality you want to maintain as best as possible. It is truly a lens, like […] The post How To Kill Humility appeared first on Zenith Ministries ..read more

Buying things on Amazon can be tricky. Sometimes, something may look exactly like what you want when you saw it online; however, it’s not what you thought it was when you finally received it. For instance, one time, I thought I was buying some socks made by Nike, but the ones I received had a funny-looking swoosh that made me think otherwise. I bring this up to emphasize the importance of seeing things correctly. Specifically, we need to see reality correctly to live in it well and experience the deep, joy-filled relationship with God that we are meant for. To see reality in this way, we need ..read more

Feeling unqualified? Help can come from a surprising source!

Guest post by a Zenith Ministries volunteer Have you ever felt unqualified? Most of us have. Yet human history is full of people who were chosen for great things in spite of their weaknesses! The example I want to dive into today is St. Photina, commonly known as the Samaritan woman at the well. Her story is the longest conversation that Jesus has with anyone in the Gospels, and whether you believe in God or not, this passage contains many riches that can help us in our own modern-day struggles!  The full text is in John 4:4-42, and I’ll also summarize it here. It begins with Jesus choosi ..read more

How To Know What’s Good For You
Zenith Ministries Blog
by William Segura

Something dawned on me the other day. I realized I don’t know what “good” looks like. And by this, I mean that I do not truly know what is good for me. It is not that I do not know the difference between good and evil in my own actions, but that it’s not always clear in the moment whether an experience or event benefits me or not.  For example, I have told the story of waiting for the woman who would become my wife to return to me. (If you haven’t heard this story, you can listen to it here.) However, while re-telling it at a talk I recently gave, I understood something I had not thought ..read more
