It’s hard to believe it has officially been a year since the pandemic hit last March. Life has changed so much in such a short amount of time. Back then, I honestly thought things would have returned to normal by now (I think a lot of us did). I have definitely learned a lot about myself during this experience, and I have grown so much in the past year. If I’ve learned one thing during this crazy year, it is to take things one day at a time, because things can change in the blink of an eye. I’ve been trying to cut myself some slack when it comes to goal setting. I’m a planner at heart ..read more

For me, January both flew by and dragged on at the same time. So many things happened in January both for everyone in the United States, and in my personal life. Despite all the craziness, I’m happy these few good things came out of the month. January Favorites: New Girl This one is an oldie, but a goodie. I started watching New Girl a few years ago, but I kind of forgot about it and got distracted by many other shows over time. My mom started watching it and reminded me how much I used to enjoy it. If you need something to give you a good laugh, then this is the show for you. Each e ..read more

I debated even making this post since the month will almost be up by the time you’re reading this. But, one of my goals for the new year is to be more consistent with my blog, so I thought it made sense to not skip a Monthly Goals post. I think 2020 taught us all the importance of being adaptable to different things life throws at us, and I’m still learning how to be better at that. Normally, I start planning out my goals for the new year in November or December, but I didn’t get around to it until the beginning of January this year. I’m realizing that it’s alright to take things slow ..read more

I know 2020 was a rough year for everyone. If you’re like me, you probably spent a large amount of time binging shows or movies on Netflix, reading books, playing videos or just doing anything to escape reality for just a little while. It’s something I’m still working on this year, and I have a feeling I’ll be doing a lot of the same things in 2021.  I thought it would be fun to share my top movies, shows and albums released in 2020 to ..read more

If you know me, you know I’m a big music person. I love listening to my favorite artists, going to concerts and discovering new bands.
