A pair of Planters nuts products are being recalled due to possible contamination with the bacteria that causes listeria. Hormel Foods Sales, LLC is voluntarily recalling the two Planters products that were produced at one of its facilities in April, according to an announcement by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). A 14-year-old boy was hospitalized after he was hit by a vehicle at a Westchester intersection.  The incident happened on Friday, May 3 just after 2:30 p.m., when a child was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of Alder Street and Spruce Street in Yonkers, Detective Sergeant Frank DiDomizio said.  According to DiDomizio, an investigation determined that the boy ran out into traffic before being hit.
