Risky thought of the day. Back in 2017, someone posted about buying a house in Vietnam using margin with IBKR. IBKR's margin is interesting since it lets you withdraw cash out, effectively being a 'loan' based on your account value. This amount is about 75% of your Net Liqudation Value (NLV) but also depends on your actual positions and gets more complicated if you're on portfolio margin.
