Construction has just commenced at Sunkids Children’s Centre’s newest, state-of-the-art childcare facility being built within the Brisbane Technology Park. Opening early 2021, the new childcare facility will cater for 101 children from 6 weeks to school age and will consist of six fully serviced rooms designed specifically for each age group, a large undercover semi-outdoor play area, alfresco dining piazza, atelier art studio, and a second-level Zen garden featuring a bamboo forest, quiet reading sanctuary, water features and hanging greenery. The Australian Government have temporarily relaxed the activity level requirements for Child Care Subsidy (CCS), meaning some families are now eligible for up to 100 hours of subsidised care each fortnight.
