My name is Maddie, I intend to write this blog mainly for myself to track my journey in mindfulness, travel and the law of attraction. This blog will be sharing my thoughts, photos, and rambling ideas, from personal posts to learning. I wear my heart on my sleeve and I am an open book, you will get to read & see the realness of myself and my life, what I am doing, where I am going and my thoughts.

Here we go again. Another celebration, another lockdown session. Whether you’re in a new relationship or an existing one, celebrating valentines day in lockdown will be one like no other.
If you’re like me and don’t live with your partner, then this year you will have to think outside the box on not only gifts but also what you can do together. I’m not overly fussed about valentines day personally, it’s just a really good excuse to go out for a nice meal and some wine. But this year, it’s very different as you can’t see your loved ones if you don’t live with them.
With just 5 days to go, I’ve ..read more

What would you class as in ‘irrelevant’ task? What would you class as a to-do-list worthy task? By using a good planner to create to-do-lists and schedule for the week ahead this will change everything for you.
For me, in my head, for a task to make it onto your to-do list, it had to be something substantial. Somthing that would take over an hour. Therefore, every time I looked at my to-do list, it left me feeling extremely overwhelmed as I had, on average, 10 or so items on this to-do-list and only about 14-16 hours to do it. Which, obviously, isn’t fiesable. Even, Hermione in HP had to ..read more

One thing that I have struggled with the past few years, well I say few, probably about 10 years, is anxiety. I have been working hard on finding small ways to make my day better and decrease any opportunities for an anxiety flaire up.
It’s been hard, I’ve gone through different kinds of therapy whether that’s online or in person, been on anxiety medication and lastly gone through extensive & severe CBT. Don’t get me wrong, I still get good days and bad days. Its not all sunshine and rainbows now I’ve completed my CBT. It takes work each day and it’s going to be something I will be learnin ..read more

Happy new year.
Heres to a very happy new year. Anything can be better than last year – you have to agree with that one! Anyway, I have a lot of goals and targets I have set for the year. Following on from my life and law of attraction coach, the amazing Noor Hibbert, I have set goals for the 8 different areas within life. These are, spiritual, physical, financial, vocational, mental, emotional, charitable and social.
Main goals
I have one main goal for each one then a few sub goals.
Why not make myself accountable to everyone who reads this and ensure I hit these goals.
Spiritual – Medi ..read more

It it might be time for a real, hard hitting, get to know me post. What better way to do this than talk about Mental Health & my experiences?
Anxiety is something I live with everyday and only recently have managed to learn how to live with it without it ruling my life.
Starting off…
A lot of things contributed to me having severe anxiety. It was when I was 14/15 that I first started to notice it. I was bullied in school by a ‘best’ friend, all behind my back (which they continued to try to do up until I was 22 and we hadn’t had contact for about 4 years). Finding this out was a huge knock ..read more

It’s already Novemeber. I can’t believe it, this year has absolutely flown by. I feel like I’ve blinked and its flown through spring, summer and we’re already in autumn/winter. We have 2 months to work on our goals, no matter how turbulant 2020 has been.
From this Thursday the UK are back into a 3/4 week lockdown, finishing on the 2nd Novemeber, just 3 days before my birthday, with the potential to extend. This was very expected but it’s quite shocking we are back at this point for the second time this year.
Time to set some Novemeber goals.
This time, I plan to use my time more wisely, e ..read more

I am back!
I know I have been really bad by not posting in ages it’s been just one of those years, I’m not complaining, everyone feels the same and its already autumn. However, not feeling very autumnal this year, I’m not ready for it, it feels like it has been one long month this year. You get what I mean?
I’ve struggled to get any motivation to do anything and I suppose that kind of falls into my anxiety but anyway, thats for another day. Since starting my new job, I’ve focused on that and my running and thats tired me out.
However I really have missed my writing so here is my first po ..read more
