I visiting friend in Venice and it took more time then expected, so now I was in hurry back to Ljubljana, not to miss too much of concert by Zmelkoow (ticket 16 €). With stop for gas and searching for parking I arrived to Orto bar around 9:50 PM. I miised half of concert as they were playing more then hour already. But there was time to enjoy rest of it. Lili was coming to Italy and she had few of my things that I forgot in Armenia. Closest she came to Slovenia was Venice and we agreed to meet there. I went early so I could walk on my own a bit before we meet. I woke up before 5 am, ate 2 eggs, and left soon. First quick stop at gas station (45 €) before driving. It was empty highway. Another stop at Vrtojba for cigarette before leaving Slovenia. Good ride in nice weather. I drove to Punta Sabbioni (north side of lagoon) for cheap parking, 7€ for 12 hours. For Lunch I picked chinese reataurant Niam niam on Nazor street. It is street food venue, just a a hole in the wall, oe table with two chairs outside and one chair at counter inside, 2 women working.. On many they have soup, noodles, dim sum, fried rice, mongolian meat. I chose Mongolian beef (10,4 €). Niam Niam I had to wait quit some time because there were 4 orders before me. Vacation talk Finally I moved to Kodeljevo, arena of Slovan. I trained handball there 35 years ago, watched Krim play 25 years ago and Slovan 15 years ago. With my sister, I went to a concert by Crvena jabuka at Orto Fest 2024. This is the 24th festival organized by Orto Bar, unique in this region. This was a trip down memory lane, back to childhood in the 80’s. I paid 24 € per ticket. I came home late and we went out after lunch and a short rest. Sister first drove her husband to the city center and then we continued to Orto bar. A short search was needed to find a parking lot. I looked for a quick lunch and find near by spot, Simit saray (part of chain). In general it is bakery but also cafe and you can get full meal. It is 5 minutes from work. Basic inerior, with space inside and also in the garden. I got hungry and decided to try new Georgian restaurant Tiflis, as I visited this country few months ago. I moved there with taxi (5 €). It is located on hillside and closte to tunnel under castle. Again waiting for the eye doctor and went for lunch. Not many things are close by. This time I went to Krpan restaurant. This was a traditional restaurant from opening in 1946 until in 90’s it changed into a seafood restaurant. I passed this place many times but never stopped there. After picking u ptickets I had time before game. I was hungry and walked to Zoki, balkan restaurant with tradition. I was hungry but still ordered too much. 10 leskovački ćevapi with ajvar and onions, lepinja, prebranac, sobska salad and two grilled spicy pappers. I drunk half liter of cedevita.
