Las Vegas is the perfect city to peacefully explore nature. In fact the name Nevada, means snowy mountains in Spanish and Las Vegas ,the meadows. Nothing represents French culture more than a leisurely cocktail break . The sidewalk cafes of France are often filled with people enjoying a nice cocktail while watching the world go by . New York, what a fun and exciting town. I am thankful I had the opportunity to visit a couple of weeks before the pandemic hit. Running around, taking the subway, people watching – all the special things that make New York so much fun, was easy to do . My heart goes out to New Yorkers in these strange and alien times. Times where the unexpected and exciting thrill of where the day can take you, has taken on a sense of strange foreboding. It was my first trip to Paris, and my excitement level was on overload. I was envisioning all the fun things I would see and do. I had overpacked a assorted variety of ensembles for every occasion . I was not by any means the seasoned traveler I am today. Some of my cringe worthy moments now give a little bit of a chuckle .
