GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — On April 24, Central High School students videotaped a verbal altercation with a Mesa County Sheriff SRO officer that suddenly turned violent. DENVER (KDVR) — Denver's newest draftee was the sixth quarterback selected in the 2024 NFL Draft, but he's now No. 1 in the Broncos' eyes. Former Oregon quarterback Bo Nix was introduced to the city in a press conference Friday afternoon, having been picked during the draft on Thursday night. GRAND JUNCTION, Colo. (KREX) — The Grand Junction Police Department has made an arrest in a shooting incident that left North Avenue closed between 19th and 23rd streets Thursday afternoon. Grand Junction Police officers responded to a report that someone had been shot near the 2000 block of North Avenue at about 1:15 p.m. on Thursday. The victim ran from the scene and was later found uninjured. Officers spoke with several witnesses who reported seeing a man shoot a gun at another man and then run into a nearby apartment.
