CARROLLTON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – A 16-year-old accused of firing a gun at a car driven by a mother transporting her three children was arrested by Carrollton police. No one was hurt in the January 10 shooting in the 1900 block of Perry Rd., but the car was damaged. An 11-year-old and a two-year-old boy were in the backseat. CARROLLTON, Texas (CBSDFW.COM) – A man has been arrested and charged in the murder of an 18-year-old at an apartment complex in Carrollton, police said. Police said they responded to a complex on Metrocrest Drive at around 3 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, after receiving calls about a fight and a shooting. It was after 6:00 a.m. when the southbound lanes of the interstate were closed at Sandy Lake Road.
