The FBI is looking for a man caught on security footage near the site of an attack on an electrical substation in Torrance last year, and a reward of up to $25,000 is available for helping track him down. A Chinese man has been charged with trying to sneak protected turtles out of the United States to be sold on "the global pet trade black market," the U.S. Department of Justice said in a news release. Sai Keung Tin, 53, faces four charges for allegedly trafficking eastern box turtles to China. Tin, a Hong Kong resident who also went by SK Tin, Ricky Tin and Ji Yearlong, was charged with four counts of exporting merchandise contrary to law. He was arrested on Feb. 25 at John F. Juveniles will no longer be allowed at a Torrance mall without adult chaperones on certain days due to an increase in brawls. After the Del Amo Fashion Center was the site of several violent fights, smash-and-grab robberies, shootings, and general mayhem, the new policy was announced Friday by Simon Property Group, owners of the mall. The plane's owner, Anis Pradhan, is devastated after dedicating years to restoring the beloved airplane. Loved ones are devastated after a woman was killed in a violent attack on the campus of El Camino College near Torrance. The victim, identified only as an Asian woman in her 60s, was walking her dog on Christmas Eve morning around 7 a.m. when the attack happened, according to campus police. A Los Angeles County hospital is searching for the family of a hit-and-run victim found earlier this week. On Dec. 21, the woman was struck by a vehicle at the intersection of San Pedro and 88th Streets in South L.A. at around 6:30 p.m. She is currently hospitalized at the Harbor-UCLA Medical Center in Torrance where she remains intubated and sedated. They further claim hospital leaders ignored their complaints.
