BAIRD, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) - Three people have been injured and three have been killed in a two-vehicle collision that occurred in Callahan County. Emergency crews responded to an incident at the intersection of West 3rd Street (FM 18) and Peyton Road in Baird at 2:10 a.m. on May 5. According to initial investigations, a Kia Spectra that was traveling south on Peyton Street came to a stop at a stop sign, while a Chevrolet truck was approaching the intersection on West 3rd. RISING STAR, Texas (KTAB/KRBC)— The southwestern portion of Eastland County, including Rising Star, has flooded, making some roads unsafe to drive on.
