WATSONVILLE — A 41-year-old delivery truck driver reportedly kidnapped at knifepoint purposely crashed his vehicle into a downtown light pole to escape, according to police. Now, a San Jose legislator has introduced a California bill to provide unhoused high school seniors with a guaranteed income to help them enroll in college or enter the workforce.
