Pedestrian Injured After Being Struck By Vehicle In Santa Clarita

SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA) — Los Angeles County Fire Department crews rescued a pedestrian who was stuck under a vehicle in Santa Clarita on Sunday evening. The incident was reported at around 10 p.m., after a vehicle struck a pedestrian on Marci Way. Crews were able to free the person from underneath the vehicle, before transporting them to a nearby hospital. According to the LACFD report, the vehicle also struck a nearby building in the crash. SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA) — A man was shot while riding his bicycle in Santa Clarita Monday evening. According to the Los Angeles Sheriff’s Department, witnesses reported the shooting at about 6:55 p.m. at the corner of Whites Canyon Road and Delight Street. SANTA CLARITA (CBSLA) — A strip mall fire in Santa Clarita on Saturday afternoon prompted a large response from Los Angeles County Fire Department crews. They engaged with the blaze on West Lyons Avenue at around 4:45 p.m. 10 fire engines and four trucks were on the scene of the fire, which was declared a second alarm fire. Crews knocked down the fire just prior to 5:30 p.m. There are no reported injuries.
