Ugh and we’re actually back to reality! It sucks having to go back to work after such a long and enjoyable getaway especially knowing that I’m back to going into the mud. Long hours, mud in every part and inch of my clothing and not being able to see my family so often sucks! Holiday mode is over and it’s time to re-fill that hole that’s left in my wallet. Back To Work I was NOT ready at all to go back to work. I mean, who would? Staying home and earning money is my ideal kind of work and what I’d much rather be doing. Although that’s not my reality now, it will all come into perspective soon ..read more

Have you ever heard of newborn reusable nappies? what even are reusable nappies? Growing up as a kid I had never heard of the term, REUSABLE NAPPIES!! Becoming a dad familiarized me with that term. The only nappies I knew about [as I would say] were normal nappies, referring to the disposable ones as it was just second nature to me. What Are Reusable Nappies? Yes that’s it, it’s all in the word! It’s when you are using the same nappy over and over again. Sound familiar? That’s because you’ve probably heard about cloth nappies, the ones your parents or grandparents used back in the good old d ..read more

Rarotonga is only a very little dot if you’re thinking of looking on the map, it is a little island located in the Cook Islands. There are 15 islands in the whole of the Cook Islands, with Rarotonga being the main one. Every visitor from overseas that decides to come to the Cook Islands visits Rarotonga first as it is the only one accepting big airlines due to the outer islands having small airports. The Island Itself Rarotonga is 32 km around the island with a speed limit of 50km/h, so you can actually drive around the island as many times as you want, that is of course you’re willing to loo ..read more

Tourism! Yes Tourism, that’s what I just said, Tourism!! That’s all we rely on here, apparently it’s what brings us more income, now look!! It’s been a week now of self isolation since we’ve been back from New Zealand. Although we do not have any cases here, it does feel as if we do! Everywhere is just so empty! Coming from the islands, specifically the cook islands, you can’t go hungry especially with all the fruits and crops we have growing wild. People shouldn’t be starving unless they’re all meat lovers and honestly we get a lot of that here. So what do and can we do during this period o ..read more

Work, work, work!!! ” You need to get a job!!! ” was the only phrase my partner kept repeating while we were sitting in the bank waiting to be served. Why? because she was 32 weeks pregnant, had just ended her side job and here I was jamming PUBG with the boys on the daily. I was really offended by her comment but I knew I had to start bringing in some dosh to support my up and coming little family. I thought to myself that if this was the only way for me to earn money to support my family then I guess it was about time for me to find a job. I’m a person who loves driving and playing around on ..read more

Honestly at first I thought being a young father would be hard, turned out I was wrong, it’s fun and challenging, and for me personally, I love challenge. The moment I found out I was becoming a father, I was excited but scared at the same time, I mean, who wouldn’t. Being young, we all have that same mentality as soon as we discover we’re a dad. Thoughts like, ” oh whaaatt…. I’m not gonna be doing all the fun things I used to do with the boys “. Fatherhood kicks in, GAMES ON!!, my life was to change for the better and I’m going to be honest with you’se, it was the best decision I ever made in ..read more
