I have always wanted to read one of the works of Albert Camus but did not have the courage because I have read some of his essays and aren’t they deep!!. "I summarized The Stranger a long time ago, with a remark I admit was highly paradoxical: "In our society any man who does not weep at his mother's funeral runs the risk of being sentenced to death."   I haven’t been active on the blog recently due to some unavoidable reasons but that does not mean I was distant from reading instead I had an epiphany. “How many books one can read in his/her lifetime??”  -Intriguing question… isn’t it? I googled and as expected there were varying numbers with too many factors to consider i.e.; reading speed, time one devotes, etc etc. But what made me think is just one comment- “It does not matter how much you read or how many, the only thing matters are What you learned from the book, did you apply it in real life? It is useless if you read t ..read more

Joshua Foer does an amazing job in describing (who am I kidding he won the memory championship). The book is more like a movie: Start (where hero thinks of something to do, and tries to prepare himself for the same.)  ->  Mid ( finding the mentor and and start preparing f ..read more
