And there’s no catch. “It works for me because every other day I leave here with 55 gallons,” says Mark Massello, a Sacramento Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (RegionalSan) employee who uses the free refill stations onsite. “I go around the whole backyard and we have a garden and I water the garden. ELK GROVE (CBS13) – Elk Grove police are warning residents after a stranger danger incident at a park on Monday. Officers say, around 3 p.m., a 10-year-old was at Constellation Park when they said a dark-colored SUV pulled up. A woman driving the SUV then reportedly told the child that they had come to pick them up. The child instead immediately went home and told their parents about the incident. ELK GROVE (CBS13) — An Elk Grove home suffered major damage after a housefire sparked. At around 6:50 a.m., Cosumnes Firefighters arrived at the scene of a housefire on Meadowfoam Ct in Elk Grove. According to Cosumnes Fire Department, the home suffered significant damage with the house next door suffering minor damage. The cause of the fire is under investigation. Sponsored by the Elk Grove-based End of Watch Fund, it honors first responders and fallen officers including Elk Grove’s own Ty Lenehan who was killed by a wrong way driver in January. ELK GROVE, Calif. (CBS13) — A truck compacted with recyclables caught fire Monday afternoon near Elk Grove, leading to a lane closure on southbound State Route 99. The California Highway Patrol says the fire happened around 3 p.m., blocking traffic on the right-most lane near the Dillard Road intersection, roughly six miles southeast of Elk Grove. SACRAMENTO COUNTY (CBS13) — A south Sacramento restaurant has been broken into twice over the past three days. The owner of Super Taco says his restaurant was burglarized over the weekend.
