A chase spanning two Southern California counties and a crash into an embankment ended with a foot pursuit on Sunday morning, according to authorities. The chase began just after 1 a.m. when sheriff's deputies from East Los Angeles pursued two males inside of a gray Hyundai. According to the California Highway Patrol, the pursuit lasted about two hours as the Hyundai drove through numerous L.A. County cities at a "high rate of speed." A pursuit began in L.A. A suspect, who remains at large, was caught on camera robbing a bank in Orange County. The incident happened on April 2 at a U.S. Bank in Irvine located on Barranca Parkway, according to the Irvine Police Department.  Security video captured the male suspect who entered the bank while wearing a baseball cap sunglasses, a face mask and disposable gloves. As the man calmly entered the bank, he walked towards a teller and handed the woman a note that demanded $18,000. Three suspects believed to be connected to an organized crime ring were arrested in Irvine. After a series of residential burglaries in the Turtle Rock and Shady Canyon neighborhoods, Irvine police officers conducted surveillance in the area. At least sixteen people were injured after an explosion at an FBI training facility on Wednesday. The incident happened at the Jerry Crowe Regional Tactical Training Facility in Irvine shortly before 1 p.m., according to the Orange County Sheriff’s Department.
